With an absolute requirement of not extinguishing species, we are aiming the world sustainable not only for the marine organisms but also for the people living with those organisms.
ELNA is an organization founded in August,1999 for the purpose of preserving the marine environment which surrounds the marine life in the Asian region. Although it initially functioned merely as a domestic window of the Yayasan Penyu Laut Indonesia - Pusat Penelitian Penyu Indonesia（Indonesia Sea Turtle Research Center) an Indonesia local NGO,substantive activities in the field also began, by availing itself of the opportunity when ELNA received attestation as a non-profitorganization (NPO) and acquired a corporative status in July,2002. Moreover, when Kanagawa Prefecture recognized ELNA as a certified NPO on June 25,2013, contributions to this organization became tax-deductible. The organization, Everlasting Nature of Asia, is now referred to by its abbreviation, ELNA.
